DESCRIPTION: American Waltham Watch Co,, Waltham, Mass., model 1892 "Crescent St.", 18 size, 21 jewels, stem wind and lever set, adjusted, damascened nickel plate movement, with lever escapement, cut bimetallic balance, gold jewel settings and gold timing screws, in a yellow gold filled, swing out open face case, with monogram on rear cover, and Arabic numeral with outer red 5-minute markers, double sunk, white enamel dial, blued steel spade and poker hands, serial #11027232, c1900
CONDITION: CASE: Not original to the movement; Dings and pin pricks; Fine scratches on outer surface of case; Minor scratches on inner surface of case ; Monogram nearly worn away; Gold filled with minor brassing; Bow replaced. DIAL: Hairlines in enamel, very light, 4:00, 6:00, 10:00; Scratches minor to dial. HANDS: Minor oxidation. MOVEMENT PLATES: Fine scratches on plate; Jewel settings marred, escape wheel and pallet upper endstones; Loss to blacking in engraving; Specks of dirt / dust. MOVEMENT FUNCTION: Running order (winds, sets and ticks).
